The city council has decided that the monthly Citizens Forum should be moved around the city to allow easier access to all citizens who are interested in stopping in and discussing Maplewood. The meeting of March 6th will be held at Firestation #4. The meeting starts at 10am and runs through about noon. The station is located at the corner of Lower Afton Rd and Londin Lane in south Maplewood. I am fortunate to be the host of this meeting and look forward to seeing you there. The council is working to have a topic or theme for each meeting and we have started by highlighting different services provided by Maplewood. The final decision for the topic for this meeting has not been finalized as of yet so if you have a suggestion let me know.
Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I think it's important that citizens understand the issues that Maplewood's city council faces. I hope that the information I provide here will help you understand what's happening in Maplewood.

Moving the Citizens Forum around the city: GOOD IDEA
Having a topic or theme for each meeting decided by the city council: BAD IDEA.
If I, a citizen of Maplewood, have a concern or question off topic, will I not be able to speak? Also- this is a "CITIZENS" FORUM. Why not let the citizens decide what the topic will be each month? After all, isn't this a democracy? (I would love to attend but unfortunately I work on Saturdays)
Thank You.
